I was born and raised in Gothenburg, Sweden. I studied Natural-Science and then continued down the long road of learning 3d. Around 2005 I decided to move to England to find a nice job. Not sure if I found Mainframe or if Mainframe found me but it wasn't long before I was happily making all kinds of 3d in London.
I'm currently Head of 3d/Visual Effects at Mainframe's London office, a title I've had the honour of holding for about three years now. Over the course of the past few years I've been involved in a large amounts of diverse projects and I've had the oppertunity to try many roles in my field. From Lead 3d, Lead Compositor, Art Director, Visual Effects Supervisor, Technical Director, Designer, Editor, CG Cinematographer, Previsualization Artist, Photographer, Mattepainter and last but not least obviously Rotoscoper. I've also helped (and pushed) Mainframe's 3d pipeline and together with a coworker, redesign the file structure and workflow to accommodate our growing company. Pipeline is key as they say!
When I'm not working with Visual Effects I fiddle and dabble with music. Mainly for fun but we have realeased a couple of albums. Even been Grammy nominated once. Check us out if you like. Band is called PLEJ and our myspace is
here.
Feedback is greatly appreciated and I'm always up for collaboration, so please feel free to drop a line.
I mean it, really... Drop me a line.
